Rameshwar Bhatt represented India at Climate Action Summit at United Nations

An undergraduate student of Ahmedabad University, Rameshwar Bhatt has his efforts aimed at building a better world. This young filmmaker who tells stories of Climate Change and the common people, has bagged many awards including  the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) award in 2018 for his film “Waves of Heat”. He also received the first prize at Connect4Climate Global Film Competition (2016) for his film “A Sun at Night”.  

From a young age, Bhatt has been exposed to a rustic and transforming realities of humankind and its impact upon the environment. At the age of thirteen Bhatt started making short films by using just a mobile phone camera. Since then he has made over 150 short films. 

Through his work and explorations, Bhatt aims to become more sensitive as a human being, as a specie among many others, and work towards creating the planet Earth into a more harmonious habitat for all.
