Param Shavak High Performance Computing System by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology
Ahmedabad University awarded Param Shavak High Performance Computing System by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology
Ahmedabad University has recently installed a modern high-performance computer (HPC) running Artificial Intelligence (AI) engines. It provides an unprecedented opportunity for solving complex societal problems especially those requiring high level of computational intensity and data analysis. The Param Shavak HPC system was awarded by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology.
The HPC fills a vital gap in our computing needs for faculty and student research as well as in preparing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and social scientists. The Param Shavak system also allows us to do large scale computational studies in diverse fields like neuroscience, atmospheric sciences and climate change, transportation planning and scheduling, econometrics in addition to application of AL/ML across disciplines.
