Overturning Roe: Voices of Concern

The Roe verdict has fuelled deep discussions at the University. The Stepwell brings together Life Sciences student Mana Shah, Assistant Professor Chandler Hatch who is a philosopher, and Adjunct Professor of Law, Krishna Mehta, for their perspective on life, rights, and moral considerations.

Chandler Hatch is a philosopher who joined the Humanities and Languages division in January 2022. Before joining Ahmedabad University, he completed his PhD at Harvard University, where he taught courses on the history of political philosophy, ethics, logic, and the philosophy of mind.

Mana Shah is a member of the Literary Club at Ahmedabad University and is part of this year's team that won the prestigious MG Trophy for inter-university debate. She has also received the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship, Ahmedabad University’s highest academic scholarship.
