Ahmedabad University Student Suhani Agrawal, BA (Hons) Class of 2027, Wins in State-wide Shooting Championship

Ahmedabad University student Suhani Agrawal, BA (Honours) Class of 2027, won the Silver Medal at the 9^th Open Ahmedabad District Air Weapon Shooting Championship 2024. She competed in the ‘Women Individual’ category.

The contest, organised by the Ahmedabad District Rifle Association under the guidance of the Gujarat State Rifle Association, saw participants from across the State of Gujarat.

“The sport of shooting requires one to maintain their calm and composure. Over the years, these qualities have also helped me in my academics. It has been four years since I have been practising and engaging in this sport. However, tournaments at all levels are extremely competitive; therefore, winning any medal brings a sense of accomplishment”, said Suhani, who developed an interest in the sport while attending a rifle training camp as an NCC cadet.
