In today’s rapidly evolving world, technological advancements are reshaping industries and societies, creating complex challenges that require integrated solutions. These solutions often lie at the intersection of engineering and management, making it essential to bridge technical expertise with strategic business acumen. The interdisciplinary nature of today’s world demands professionals who not only possess engineering proficiency but also have the ability to lead strategic decision-making. The world needs leaders capable of solving engineering problems while understanding their managerial, technological, and social contexts.
Ahmedabad University’s five-year Integrated Programme in Technology and Management allows students to complete a Bachelor of Technology degree (in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering) and complete a Master of Business Administration programme in five years. The programme provides students with a strong foundation in the core and technical aspects of engineering and science, taught at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, along with managerial competencies developed at the Amrut Mody School of Management. This integrated knowledge in technology and management enables students to navigate technological, managerial, and societal challenges, equipping them to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovation drivers.
Ahmedabad University, in partnership with IIT Gandhinagar and University of California San Diego, runs the GIFT International Fintech Institute at Gift City. Students of the Integrated Programme in Technology and Management will have an opportunity to build expertise in Fintech and join careers in an emerging world of technology and finance.
