World Book & Copyright Day 2025: Book Swap
In celebration of World Book Day 2025, the University Library System is happy to organise a Book Swap Programme, inviting our readers to share their beloved books and insights with our active reading community.
Guidelines
- We encourage participants to bring gently used books that they are willing to exchange. Please ensure each book is in good condition and free from torn pages, excessive markings, or damage.
- You are welcome to bring books from any genre – fiction, non-fiction, children's books, and more. Feel free to bring multiple books to swap. Additionally, you are welcome to donate more children's books, which will be gifted to community schools in need
- Participation in the Book Swap Programme is open to all; no registration is required. Bring your books and join in the swapping joy.
- Present your books at the Book Swap Counter. For each book you contribute, you will receive a token. Redeem your token for any book from the collection.
- One token equals one book. All exchanges should be for books of similar condition and value. If needed, our staff will assist in determining appropriate swaps.
- Please handle all books with care. Treat others’ books as you would your own.
- Any unclaimed books at the end of the event will be donated to local schools, social organisations, or repurposed for future library initiatives.
