Mr AK Bhattacharya is the Editorial Director of Business Standard. He earned his Master’s degree from Hindu College, University of Delhi and has been an economic journalist for the last four decades. He has served as an Editor of Business Standard and earlier The Pioneer.

Furthermore, he has held various leadership positions in The Financial Express and The Economic Times. His column Raisina Hill, published in Business Standard is a commentary on government affairs, developmental issues and economy. He frequently participates in economic policy discussions conducted  by various multimedia platforms and is a Distinguished Fellow at Ananta Aspen Center and member of Economic Affairs Council of the Confederation of Indian

Industry. He was a former general secretary of Editors Guild of India and was awarded Shriman Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Financial Journalism in 2017. He has authored several books- The Rise of Goliath: Twelve Disruptions That Changed India, India’s Finance Ministers: From Independence to Emergency (1947-1977), India’s Finance Ministers: Stumbling into Reforms (1977-1998), India’s Finance Ministers: Different Strokes (1998-2014) all published by Penguin.

Professor Sudeep Chakravarti is a professor of Practice in the Social Sciences and Humanities and Language divisions of the School of Arts and Sciences at Ahmedabad University, and Chair of the university's Communication Programme. Professor Chakravarti is an author, researcher and media analyst specialising in Geopolitics, Geo-Economics, and History. He holds a graduate degree in History and Political Science from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. He is the founder and director of the Center of South Asian Studies at ULAB, Dhaka and has authored various non fiction publications spanning history, culture, politics and conflict resolution. Having nearly four decades of experience, he began his career at The Asian Wall Street Journal, and later took leadership roles at Sunday Magazine, India Today Magazine and HT Media. He established prestigious thought platforms and also consulted for various publications.
