The King's Baton Relay of Commonwealth Games 2026- Glasgow

Ahmedabad University will host The King's Baton Relay of Commonwealth Games 2026-Glasgow as part of its tour across India. The Baton’s arrival is linked to India’s initiative to promote and introduce the Commonwealth Games bid, with Ahmedabad proposed as a host city. It is a significant moment for Ahmedabad’s sporting community to be part of a global sporting tradition that celebrates friendship, collaboration, and the spirit of competition.

The event will include a Sports and Commonwealth Games Quiz, where participants can test their sports knowledge. We look forward to welcoming the Baton to our campus and to the enthusiastic participation of our community as we mark this milestone for the University and the city of Ahmedabad.
