Technocruise: SEAS hosts the first ever prelim of TechKriti'17

IIT Kanpur’s tech-fest TechKriti occurs in three parts: Zonals, Prelims, and, the Main Event.

This year School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University hosted the first ever prelim of TechKriti'17 called Technocruise in Ahmedabad on 21st-22nd January 2017. There were five workshops viz, IoT, Ethical Hacking, Android App Development, Sixth Sense Robotics, Flying Wing. More than 400 students from across 12 different colleges of Ahmadabad participated in these workshops and gained valuable knowledge that was passed on from the Instructors.

There were two events called SocCon ( Social Conquest ) and Manoeuvre whose zonal round selection was conducted here. A various team of students participated in these events and 1st three winners were selected to compete at the National level at IIT Kanpur final event on 23-26 March 2017. Prof Pratik Munshi and Ms Manisha Patel spared their valuable time as the judges for the SocCon event.

There was a talk by Mr Yash Shah, Co-founder, Gridle during the closing ceremony which was very much enjoyed by students and the speaker. All the students were provided with a participation certificate from IIT Kanpur. The whole event was coordinated by B. Tech 2nd year students of SEAS Mr Nikki Thakrar, Mr Rohan Shah and Mr Shail Desai.
