Sangeet Sabha: Raag Rang

Sangeet Sabha: Raag Rang | Heritage Club

The Heritage Club is organising Sangeet Sabha – Raag Rang, an evening dedicated to exploring the richness of Indian Classical Music with a focus on Raag Yaman. The event will begin with a playback of a maestro’s performance, followed by an insightful talk by Professor Lakshmi Sreeram on the significance of Raag Yaman. It will include an interactive Q&A session with trained student musicians and live performances by university students, featuring a sitar–bansuri jugalbandi with tabla accompaniment and renditions of songs based on the Raag Yaman. This event aims to make classical music engaging, accessible, and relatable for the university community.
