Old Magazines and Books’ Takeaway
Guidelines for the takeaway (Old magazines)
- You can pick any number of magazines by paying INR 2/- per magazine.
- Please do not return the magazine/s to the library. Do not place these in the common area/reading (quiet) rooms or corridors.
- Please pick the magazines which are displayed in the disposal area only.
- Before taking the magazine out, please check if it has the ‘Withdrawn’ stamp on it.
- Please ensure you fill in the details of the collected magazine/s in the register kept in the display area.
- You can pay by cash or wire transfer through the QR code kept in the display area.
- You are not allowed to reserve any magazine/s. It will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Date: November 14-18, 2022
Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Venue: Basement area, Central Library, GICT building

- Please pick the books which are displayed in the disposal area only.
- Before taking the book out, please check if it has the ‘Withdrawn’ stamp on it.
- Please ensure you fill in the details of the collected book/s in the register kept in the display area.
- You can pay by cash or wire transfer through the QR code kept in the display area.
- If you feel that any book/s is useful to our students and needs to be retained in the library, please inform the volunteers to remove the book/s from the display area.
- You are not allowed to reserve any book/s. It will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
