Festival brings in various shades of happiness. Aaghaaz is one such cultural festival which is annually celebrated at School of Engineering. As the custom follows, this year too aaghaaz was celebrated with great pomp and show from 22nd to 24th January. Students from diverse courses like ICT, chemical and mechanical participated in it.

We inaugurated the event on 22nd January, followed by events like live counter strike(paintball), photography, snap story, two-phase debate, extempore, Rubik's cube solving, cartooning art and C'zar war ­ a team event that Squrrze's out the most significant qualities of a person, like physical strength, mental power and intellectual abilities. On the next day, we had a stock exchange where you invest money and play your mind in the game of increasing and crashing stocks, trashion ­ which is a combination of trash + fashion, crime investigation ­ where you play Sherlock Holmes. In the evening we had a DJ party to immerse oneself in the swag of music and dance. On the last day, i.e on 24th, various events like poetry recitation, dubsmash, mad Ads were conducted. Last day evening was one rememberable day. We had various stage performances by faculty and staff and students ­ singing, dancing, antakshari students v/s faculty, and at last but never the least, we had price distribution. Aaghaaz has always brought and will keep bringing a thrust of energy into every student who waits a whole year for this festival.
