Industrial visit: Harsha Engineers, Ahmedabad

An industrial visit to Harsha Engineers was organized on 26th October 2016 for 5th semester mechanical engineering students. All the students were at first introduced to Harsha Engineers, their history, organization structure and products. That was followed by visiting their manufacturing plant, where students got an opportunity to observe state-of-the-art machine shops performing various manufacturing processes that are needed for bearing cage manufacturing. The visit was concluded with a short feedback session where students interacted with personnel from Harsha Engineers to learn how an organization achieves its goals. There was a parallel interaction with faculty members where potential future projects and knowledge sharing opportunities were discussed. SEAS proactively promotes liaison of academia and industry and thanks Harsha Engineers for extending their support for this visit.
