The Theatre Club’s Improv Battle is a fun and energetic event where you act without a script.
Instead of learning lines in advance, participants create scenes and dialogues on the spot, utilising their creativity and quick thinking. The event features short, fast rounds where teams are presented with humorous or unusual situations, and they must react and perform instantly. For example, in games like “Questions Only” and “Quadrants,” players must speak only in questions or act based on the space they are standing in. It’s all about thinking fast and enjoying the unexpected moments. There will be 8 teams of 5 members, and teams will be formed randomly to make things exciting and help everyone work with new people. The focus is not on perfect acting; it’s about teamwork, confidence, and having fun while performing. The Improv Battle is a great opportunity to try something new, be spontaneous, support one another, and enjoy performing without pressure.
