Professor De Souza is a distinguished professor at the University of Sheffield, UK, with decades of research experience in GaN CMOS, heterogeneous integration, on-chip inductors and magnetic materials, and memory devices for neuromorphic applications. She is an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer and an active Women in Engineering (WiE) member, known for her contributions to next-generation semiconductor and computing technologies.
