He will share multiple case studies led under his direction, showcasing real challenges, design breakthroughs, and results—illustrating how his vision and leadership transformed Brand Interio’s design approach into a benchmark of success.

Venkat Ega
Mr Venkat is the Vice President, Head of Design at Interio - Godrej. He combines engineering depth with strategic design leadership to create products that positively transform everyday experiences. An M.Tech from IIT Bombay, he has led some of India’s most impactful furniture innovations, turning steel and modular designs into user-centric, design-led solutions. At Godrej Interio, he has built a strong design culture, driving benchmark products and positioning design as a core business strength. He has led portfolios spanning storage, contemporary living, and exports.
His Key Achievements spanning across 35 years: Mr Venkat has designed India’s first flat-pack metal wardrobe, Slimline—a ₹100+ Cr platform—and under his leadership, Interio has over 700 design registrations and 17 patents. His design-led products have won 61 India Design Marks and 11 CII Design Excellence Awards, while contributing to strengthening National Design Standards and Quality in the Furniture Industry. His other passions include long drives, chess, and discovering new avenues for design inspiration.
