Debate Competition: Heritage and Development
The Centre for Heritage Management is conducting an all-India Debate Competition on the theme ‘Heritage and Development’. The topic is, Is Heritage a Boon or a Bane for Development? This competition is open to all undergraduate students from any background and will be held in the English language. The competition will be held in 3 rounds:
- Preliminary Round: Opening on March 11, 2023, participants will be asked to submit their position statements online based on which they will be selected for the next round.
- Regional Round: Held online on March 18, 2023, the regional rounds will have shortlisted participants compete on a regional basis (North, South, East, West, and Central).
- Finale: Qualified participants will be invited to Ahmedabad University for the finale on April 8, 2023. They will have the opportunity to travel to Ahmedabad at no cost, visit the University campus, and be a part of an introductory workshop to Heritage Management.
Last date to register is March 10, 2023.
