Data Science: A Computer Science Perspective
Data science is a fast emerging multi-disciplinary area at the intersection of computer science, mathematics and artificial intelligence, with applicability in diverse fields like agriculture, business, education, finance and healthcare for solving problems like annotating genome sequences, automation in manufacturing industry, and medical image analysis. These problems require analyzing discrete structured and unstructured high dimensional data sets.
