The objective of Cine-Matrix is to create an engaging and inclusive environment where cinephiles and other individuals within the university can connect with like-minded peers, fostering a sense of community among film enthusiasts. The event aims to encourage participants to explore and deepen their passion for cinema through games, discussions, and networking opportunities while also providing an accessible entry point for those new to the world of films. Ultimately, the mixer seeks to strengthen the club’s network and cultivate a shared love for the art of cinema.

Venue: Room 330, School of Arts and Sciences, Central Campus, Ahmedabad University
Process: The event will kick off with a quick ice-breaking game, setting a relaxed tone and helping everyone get acquainted. The event will then flow into a series of engaging games: Film Pictionary, where teams guess movies from drawn scenes; film-themed Taboo, challenging participants to describe films/characters without using obvious clues; a Dubbing Challenge, where one person humorously dubs a famous film dialogue in another language while others guess the original; and a Morphed Faces Game, testing participants' ability to identify actors from morphed images. The event ends with a final game where the participants will line up, giving each person 5 seconds to identify an actor/character. If the participant provides the correct answer, the game continues; however, if the participant fails to identify the actor/character, the game restarts from the beginning.
Expected Outcome: The primary aim of the event is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community of cinephiles within the university, where participants deepen their appreciation and understanding of cinema. The interactive games will not only provide entertainment but also stimulate discussions, helping the attendees engage with diverse perspectives on film, sparking new insights and expanding their cinematic knowledge. The event will reinforce the club's mission to explore the art of filmmaking. Additionally, the mixer will serve as an inviting introduction for newcomers, helping them feel welcomed into the film community as well as the overarching Ahmedabad University community and inspiring them to further engage with the club’s activities.
