A session with Dr C Rangarajan

Dr C Rangarajan, Distinguished University Professor, Ahmedabad University, and a leading economist of India interacted with students and faculty members from across the city on 16th January 2019.  Internationally acclaimed academic and policymaker, Dr Rangarajan is recognized for his contributions as the Governor of Reserve Bank of India. He gave a talk on 'Economic Issues: Hopes and Concerns for 2019'. After explicating the issues that have plagued the Indian economy along with a true picture of its achievements, he advocated a two fold formula of increasing economic growth while addressing the concerns of vulnerable sections of the society through well thought out policy making for a better future for India.
