A Flexible Curriculum Approach

As an Undeclared major student, Ahmedabad University has given me the flexibility to explore the different subjects offered before I make my final decision – students have the power to curate and customize an academic schedule to cater to their needs and personal goals. The autonomy that we, as students possess, prepares us for the real world and helps us become fully-functioning adults.

Ahmedabad University also offers the unique Foundation Program, which is a set of 4 courses that are mandatory for all undergraduate students. These 'studios' are interdisciplinary in nature, exposing students to different domains beyond their field of study, facilitating interactions between students of different programs. The exposure created allows for broadening of perspectives and in many cases, piques interests in students that they never knew they had. While a business student is introduced to the world of humanities and an art student explores the magic of data science, all of it creates an interdependent environment where students can learn from one another.
