Announcement of Decision
The two-year tuition fee for the incoming class of 2026 is INR 5,00,000 (INR 2,50,000 per annum) and INR 20,000 (INR 10,000 per annum) towards books/ course materials/activity charges.

Is there any minimum score required in the entrance tests?
No, the shortlisting will be based on your overall profile.
Can I also appear for AMSOM-PG conducted by Ahmedabad University?
Yes, you can take AMSOM-PG test online, if you haven’t appeared for any of the standardised tests or have a score below our cut offs.
Can I apply with a CUET-PG 2024 / JAM 2024 score?
No, only CUET-PG 2025 . JAM 2025 scores are valid for admission to the Class of 2027.
Can I submit my entrance test scores later, after submitting my application?
Yes, you can submit your application now and update your entrance test score latest by 15th May, 2025.
Do I need to submit my application in one go?
No, you can save your application on the student portal and come back again to submit it.
Will my work experience in family business counted?
Yes, your experience post-completion of your bachelor’s degree in your family business will be counted.
I could not make it in the first round. Can I apply again?
No, you can only apply once in the admission cycle.
How will I come to know if I’m shortlisted for an interview?
You will receive an email on the registered email id. We suggest you to also keep a check on your spam folder.
Do you have any quotas?
No, admission is on merit only.
How will the interviews be conducted?
Interaction with the faculty will be conducted on campus or online.
Can I make changes in the application form after submitting it?
No, you cannot make any changes in the application after submitting it.
Can freshers apply?
Yes, freshers can apply for the MS Economics programme.
Are scholarships available?
Teaching Assistantships are available on the basis of merit. It provides a waiver of INR 1.25 lakh per year towards the tuition fee. Continuation of this assistantship in the second year is contingent upon maintaining a satisfactory academic performance.

No, it is not mandatory to stay at the student housing offered by Ahmedabad University
Can I see the accommodation before taking admission?

A free bus shuttle service is available for the students.
Will I get an MS Economics degree or Diploma?
Post completion of the required credits, you will be awarded an Master of Science in Economics Degree from Ahmedabad University. University Grants Commission, in its letter dated 28th July 2010 F.No. 8-13/2010(CPP-I/PU), has notified that Ahmedabad University, Navrangpura (Gujarat) has been established by an Act (No. 8 of 2009) of State Legislature of Gujarat as a State Private University, and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the University Grants Commission under section 22 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956.
