Ahmedabad University Signs MoUs with University System of Taiwan and National Central University, Taiwan, to Promote Educational and Research Collaboration

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between Ahmedabad University, India, and the International College of Graduate Studies, University System of Taiwan, and another between Ahmedabad University and National Central University, Taiwan. The MoUs mark a significant step towards promoting academic and research collaboration between Ahmedabad University and East Asian universities of repute. National Central University, Taiwan, is a public research institution with a legacy of over 100 years. The University System of Taiwan was formally authorised by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education in 2008 as a consortium of the top four research-led universities in Taiwan: National Tsing Hua University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Central University, and National Chengchi University. 

The 5-year MoUs will promote institutional exchange by inviting faculty and staff to participate in joint research projects; promote the exchange of essays, publications, theses, and information related to the research; consider a dual degree programme; and promote student exchange programmes.
