Ahmedabad Alumni’s Spirit of Innovation on Display at Startup Fest

This has been the success mantra of our alumnus Manan Shah, BCom (Hons) Class of 2017, who won the 'Best Digital Creator of the Year' award at Startup Fest Season 2.0 for his venture, Ahmedabad Live.

The platform has become a one-stop destination for everything that makes the Heritage City unique, beautiful, and warm. From Ahmedabad's biggest concerts to college fests, carnivals to food fests, and exhibitions to conferences, it offers something for everyone.
 

Expressing his gratitude, Manan said, "Besides my family, friends, clients, and colleagues who have supported me throughout this journey, I also attribute this success to Ahmedabad University. The idea was conceived back in college, and those days shaped who I am today. The network I built there has become one of my greatest assets and helped me reach where I am today."

Additionally, our alumna Hardi Shah, BBA (Hons) Class of 2020, also received the 'Bharat Innovators and Excellence' award at Startup Fest Season 2.0 for her venture, BIJOI. This initiative, a platform to buy authentic handcrafted products directly from traditional artisans, aligns with her commitment to supporting and upholding the beauty of Indian crafts by integrating conventional skills with modern digital technologies.

Startup Fest Season 2.0 celebrated the achievements of our alumni, like Manan and Hardi, whose innovative ventures are making significant contributions to society and the entrepreneurial spirit we foster at Ahmedabad University.
