As part of Ahmedabad University's Research Seminar Series, there was a talk by Dr Vishal Gupta, Associate Professor, University of Mississippi. He shared his experiences through his journey on how to conduct quality research, identify an area and work towards getting published in the right publications. The faculty members had an interaction with Professor Gupta and the discussion went beyond the allotted time.

Professor Gupta's research interests include Entrepreneurial Orientation, Gender Issues in Management, and Austrian Economics. His work has been published in Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Business Venturing, among others. His co-authored research monograph 'The Concept of Entrepreneurial Orientation' has recently been published by NOW Press.

The talk took place on 10th August in the School of Engineering and Applied Science Building.
