Philosophy and Practice of Taxation

The Department of Accountancy at the Amrut Mody School of Management had organized an Expert Seminar for the third year students on Taxation. The talk at the seminar was titled on"Philosophy and Practice of Taxation". The Speaker for the Seminar was CA Bandish Soparkar. Mr Soparkar is a young and dynamic practising Chartered Accountant and an eminent lawyer by profession. His areas of practice include litigation at Gujarat High Court in the areas of Income Tax, Sales Tax and Company matters over the past five years. He has also been a speaker at the IP Summit 2014 organized by Y. J. Trivedi & Co. He comes from a strong academic background and has secured the highest marks in the subject of Direct Taxes at the Chartered Accountancy examination.
