The Foundation Day event started with Professor Bibek Banerjee's presentation, where he shared the vision and future plans of Ahmedabad University. He spoke about the University strategy, Liberal Education, and the attributes of an Ahmedabad University student in detail. Professor Banerjee also talked about the exciting and new upcoming spaces like Bookstore, Arboretum, Student Centre, Centre for Performing Arts, School of Arts and Sciences, and Student Residences.  Professor Banerjee's presentation was followed by presentations from Professor Devanath Tirupati, Professor Patrick French, and Professor Sunil Kale. 

The event concluded with the Chairman's Award ceremony. Professor Sanjay Singh from the School of Arts and Sciences won the award for his outstanding performance under the 'Research' category. The 'Teaching' category award was given to three faculty, Professor Saptam Patel, Amrut Mody School of Management; Professor Vaibhav Kadia, Amrut Mody School of Management; and Professor Harshal Oza, School of Engineering and Applied Science. The third category, 'Contribution to Institution Building' award went to Ms Juhi Bansal, Centre for Learning Futures.

Two student clubs, The Management Club and Fitness Club were also awarded certificates to recognise their efforts and contributions.
