We introduce the concept of graphs, a fundamental mathematical structure widely utilised across various scientific disciplines. We begin by exploring the origins of this field, tracing its development to a simple historical puzzle. Following this, we present the notion of graph colouring and examine its practical applications. Finally, we highlight several broader applications of graph theory and provide a concise summary of our discussion.
