Ahmedabad University (www.ahduni.edu.in) is a private, non-profit university offering students a liberal education with a focus on research and interdisciplinary, project-based learning. It is a research university whose purpose is to foster continuous progress of self and society. While Ahmedabad is a young institution (established in 2009 in the heart of one of India's most vibrant and livable cities), it has already taken significant steps to create a diverse, intellectually stimulating and collaborative culture for students and faculty. The University offers programmes leading to degrees from bachelors to doctoral at its schools of Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Management. The University is already attracting ambitious scholars from around the world and is developing links with some of the finest academic institutions and companies. It is an opportunity to re-imagine a university in the global academy and within subcontinental traditions of knowledge, and to act as a bridge between the arts, the sciences and the professions.

Ahmedabad University has started our new School of Public Health in April, 2023. The School aims to improve health and the environment locally as well as nationally and globally, to train leaders who can develop wholistic solutions to interdisciplinary problems pertinent to the 21st century, and to educate and inspire individuals, communities and organisations. The School of Public Health will be recruiting faculty at all levels full-time tenure-track faculty as well as part-time faculty, and also engaging visiting faculty. Initial focus areas include environmental health, data science, and executive education, and long term goals are to expand to a comprehensive and globally impactful School of Public Health. The School will offer an unprecedented opportunity for strong interdisciplinary enquiry with a low barrier to collaborative teaching/inquiry/research, directed by a desire to address complex, at-scale societal challenges.

Interested faculty with pertinent PhD or equivalent are requested to fill up the form as per this link.
