Renowned Basketball Standout Scott VanderMeer Visits Ahmedabad University

It’s not everyday that one gets a chance to learn the moves and manoeuvres of a sport from a player who has consistently played and delivered sterling performances at the highest level of the game! This unique opportunity came the way of Ahmedabad University students when the renowned former US basketball player Scott VanderMeer recently visited the University to conduct an exclusive training session with the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams. At the peak of his career, VanderMeer had once said, “My goal is simple, to help the team I am on win every game and to win a championship. I will do whatever it takes to the best of my ability to make it happen.” It was with this spirit that the basketball standout trained the young players at the University, motivating them to go the extra mile and give their best on the court!
