Project Summary: Across India’s socio-economic fabric, for countless years, many women that do not give birth to a male child are subject to mental and physical abuse. The abuse varies from shaming, to abandonment and even death. We will test whether education entertainment (“edutainment”) can overcome age-old beliefs.  By changing the attitudes of both men and women, our intervention endeavours to lower levels of domestic violence inflicted on women.
