Is this an opportunity to extend the music, particularly classical and folk, beyond their regional niches to a wider audience and how do non-music students balance their personal and professional interests?

To widen the melodic understanding and the boundaries, Professor Chitra Srikrishna also brought in a variety of guest speakers such as Shubha Mudgal (vocalist), Nirmala Rajashekar (vainika) and Vinod Seetharaman (mridangist) to address the classes.
