BTech student secures admission in University of Pennsylvania

Anokhee Chokshi, student of BTech in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), Ahmedabad University, has secured admission for MSE at the University of Pennsylvania. She will pursue her master’s degree in Mechatronic and Robotic Systems. 

Excited about the achievement, Anokhee said that the mentoring she received at SEAS was crucial to gaining the coveted admission. “When I picked Mechanical engineering for my degree, I thought of it as a stop-gap until I returned to my first love, Mathematics. But SEAS made me fall in love with engineering,” Anokhee said. At SEAS, the emphasis was on applied knowledge, she said, and added that the opportunity to select courses and work on multiple projects helped her develop a genuine interest in research. 

“I had the opportunity to learn from some of the best minds in the discipline. My professors supported me at every step of the four-year programme. SEAS has provided me with a stepping stone, inculcating the skills and values needed to grow and thrive in my future endeavors. I hope to dive deep into my passion and do SEAS proud.”
