BBA (Hons) Graduate Pearl's Journey of Excellence to Singapore Management University

It is this rigour and mindset that our recent graduate, Pearl Sheth, BBA (Hons), will carry with her to Singapore Management University, becoming a true ambassador of Ahmedabad University's education.

What began as an interest in finance evolved into a deeper understanding of its relevance in solving complex, global problems. Pearl attributes this growth to the University's open curriculum and emphasis on collaborative, project-based learning. These aspects helped her strengthen her analytical thinking, communication skills, and adaptability- skills essential to lead in today's rapidly evolving professional landscape.

Learning at Ahmedabad was not limited to lecture halls. As a varsity Theatre Club member for three years, Pearl developed leadership, resilience, and empathy in a unique environment. "Whether it was leading a production, managing a team, or navigating uncertainty on stage, these experiences imparted lessons in confidence and clarity," she stated.

"My time at Ahmedabad University has prepared me for the next phase of my academic and professional journey," said Pearl. "I am now pursuing a Master in Applied Finance at Singapore Management University (SMU), where I look forward to applying my foundation in finance to specialised areas like fintech and sustainable finance. SMU's focus on experiential and case-based learning echoes the academic philosophy I have grown with, and its global context provides the perfect setting for further growth and impact."
