Ahmedabad University Wins Taekwondo and Volleyball Titles at PDEU’s Energy Cup Sports Championship
Isha Punjani won the Gold in Taekwondo, and the girls’ volleyball team clinched the winning trophy at PDEU’s Energy Cup sports championship held at its Gandhinagar campus. Two of our boys’ teams, in Chess and Lawn Tennis, were the runners-up in their categories. 16 teams and individuals had participated in the annual sports event from Ahmedabad University in Basketball, Tennis, Chess, Kho-Kho (Boys) and (Girls), Volleyball (Boys) and (Girls), Table Tennis, Frisbee, Football, Kabaddi, Cricket (Boys) and (Girls), Badminton (Boys) and (Girls), and Taekwondo.
