Ahmedabad Professor Publishes Anthology Exploring Lives in North Gujarat and Beyond

Wondering what the lives of individuals connected to North Gujarat are like? Sanjay Chaudhary​​​​​​, Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Engineering and Applied Science​​​​​​, has penned an anthology of stories capturing the lives of such people, offering a peek into their lives in North Gujarat and beyond.

These stories capture the essence of people from diverse walks of life — from farmers in rural settlements to those striving to transcend boundaries and explore broader horizons. They also include tales of visitors experiencing the region during vacations and those returning out of nostalgia, each story shedding light on human aspirations.

The book "ઊઘડતી દિશા," which translates to "Towards a New Direction," was launched on December 15, 2024, at the Ahmedabad Management Association. Published by Gurjar Sahitya Bhavan, the event was attended by notable writers and critics of Gujarati literature.
