Communication

Saptam Patel has been teaching in Communication since 1999. She graduated from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad and did post-graduation, MPhil, and PhD from the School of Languages, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. She has been teaching courses on business communication, art of persuasion and gender for seventeen years. Her research area is multidisciplinary as she has been working on literature in English, gender, fine arts and women's writing, and she has published/presented and participated in various international and national conferences and seminars. 

She did her fine arts study at Sheth C N College of Fine Arts. She has been a member of a group of women artists called 'Expressive Eight' and exhibited at Jehangir Art Gallery, Rabindra Bhavan, Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan, Marvel Art Gallery, Hutheesingh Visual Art Gallery, Contemporary Art Gallery – Ahmedabad, Chandigarh at international galleries. She has participated in almost twenty national and international shows of paintings, prints, and photographs.
