Profile
Rahul is an applied micro-economist and his research interests lie in International Trade, Empirical Industrial Organization, and Finance. His research examines the firm level adjustments to Non-Tariff Measures and Chinese import competition in the post-liberalisation period in India. His current projects study the effectiveness of various policies in encouraging firm level innovation in India. He holds a PhD in Economics from IIM Bangalore and B-Tech in Mining Engineering from IIT-BHU.
