Profile
Poonam Dugar is currently working as a faculty in Finance Accounting & Control Area, teaching courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University. She has completed her M.Com in Accountancy, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Ph.D. in Commerce on the topic “A STUDY OF VENTURE CAPITAL FIRMS IN INDIA” from the Gujarat University. Her areas of interest include Financial and Cost Accounting, Taxation, Venture Capital and Private Equity.
She is the Assistant Dean of the Undergraduate Programmes at AMSOM. She has been the Chair for the BCOM (Hons) and BCOM Professional (Hons) Programme for 5 years(2019-2023). She also coordinates the administration of the Association of Chartered Certified Accoutants (ACCA) qualification and various Certificate and Diploma programmes at the University.
