Professor Athavle spent over 30 years in Global Financial Markets, including serving in leadership positions at some of the largest global financial institutions. Working at the forefront of financial derivatives and global markets, he had a ringside seat to knowing and understanding how these operate and developing deep insights in areas linked to the fields of Banking, International Finance, and Global Markets. In his previous role at J.P. Morgan, Professor Athavle was Chairman of the Board of Directors of J.P. Morgan SEA Ltd (JPMSEAL), Managing Director, Head of Global Clients APAC, and Head of Sales for Singapore.
