Profile
Kinshuk Saurabh completed his Fellow Programme in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, in 2013. His dissertation was titled Essays in Mergers & Acquisition, Governance Structures and Firm Valuation. After his dissertation, he worked as an Associate Director, Indian School of Business, and Associate Professor, Indian Institute of Management Nagpur and the Institute of Management, Nirma University. He has taught Finance courses in graduate, doctoral, and executive education programmes. He also co-founded a Fintech startup and has served and advised entrepreneurs and private equity firms' boards on their investments into startups.
Research
His research focuses on issues at the intersection of Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Corporate Governance. He has examined the principal-agent and moral hazard problems related to mergers and acquisitions, board composition, and ownership structure of family firms. In his recent works, he has also examined the relationship between corporate governance and internationalisation choices of family firms. His research has been published in reputed International journals such as the Journal of Managerial Finance, Asian Review of Accounting, International Journal of Disclosure and Governance, etc. He is also an active ad hoc reviewer for reputed journals like Corporate Governance: An International Review and the Journal of International Management.
