Professor Balachandran Ravindran is Visiting Professor at School of Arts and Sciences, Ahmedabad University. He received his PhD from University of Delhi and was trained at School of Tropical Medicine, Liverpool and University of Connecticut Health Centre, USA. He has an experience of 35 years of both teaching and research in the area of Life Sciences and also in Microbiology, Immunology and Parasite Biology. His scientific research includes Immunobiology of Infectious diseases, Regulation of inflammation and macrophage biology.
