The Professional Grooming and Excellence masterclass will explore the importance of professional etiquette, personal grooming, and effective communication in creating a lasting impression. Drawing on the standards of luxury hospitality, the session will offer practical insights into professional dressing, workplace conduct, confidence, and attention to detail, while highlighting how courtesy, empathy, and self-awareness can enrich both professional and everyday interactions.

Maurice Sarkar, the Learning & Development Manager at ITC Narmada has over a decade of hospitality experience. Maurice has worked at various ITC properties prior to his role at ITC Narmada, one being the company's flagship 600 room hotel in Chennai, the iconic ITC Grand Chola. Maurice is an alumnus of the prestigious ITC Hotel Management Institute and was part of the Housekeeping Management Training Programme. Maurice grew into the role of Executive Housekeeper early on in his career. Subsequently, Maurice also began to pursue his passion for training and development with the view that the circle of learning completes when someone imparts their learning to others. Maurice now spearheads the training and development programs which in turn has helped facilitate guest satisfaction and guest engagement, as well as also implements Project Nur- DEI Allyship programme for ITC Hotels limited.
