Performing and Visual Arts Showcase 2026

The Performing and Visual Arts Showcase 2026 marks the annual culmination of creative exploration, critical inquiry, and artistic expression emerging from courses taught in the Performing and Visual Arts Division at Ahmedabad University. It brings together a diverse body of work produced by over 150 students across disciplines including theatre, music, printmaking, photography, and painting.

The Showcase invites audiences into the evolving ecosystem of practice-based learning, foregrounding the pedagogical approaches that inform the division’s curriculum—experimentation, process-centred learning, interdisciplinary dialogue, and research-driven creation. The audiences are encouraged to look beyond finished works and engage with the methods, materials, and conceptual frameworks that underpin them.
