Overview of Basics of Machine Learning and Data Science highlighted through Interdisciplinary Problem Solving
Machine Learning and Data Science use mathematical models, software tools, and algorithms to make predictions, draw insights, uncover patterns, and solve complex problems. These tasks span prediction, classification, clustering, and generation, and rely on machine learning tools, techniques, and frameworks that require a deeper understanding of algorithms, data structures, probability, statistics, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics. This workshop will attempt to address the conceptual understanding of models, tools, techniques and algorithms in Machine Learning and Data Science, along with some applications in Computer Vision and Healthcare.
