Exploring Behavioural Economics
Exploring Behavioural Economics is an engaging online session that explores how human behaviour, psychology, and emotions influence economic decisions. The session will introduce participants to key concepts such as decision-making, cognitive biases, risk and uncertainty, and the ways in which individuals and institutions respond to incentives. Through relatable examples and real-world situations, participants will discover why people often make choices that differ from traditional economic predictions and how behavioural insights are applied in areas such as public policy, finance, marketing, and everyday decision-making. The session is designed for students interested in understanding economics from a more human and practical perspective.
