A) Financial Aid for Master's Students | 2026-2027

Master of Business Administration

• Generous scholarships up to a 100 per cent waiver of tuition fees will be granted to students with high entrance test scores and a strong academic record.
• For Round 1 (Early Admits) - Ahmedabad University offers several merit scholarships (on tuition fees) to applicants with high entrance test score and an exceptional profile. For Round 2 applicants - merit-based scholarships (on tuition fees) will be offered only if available.
• Continuation of merit scholarship in second year requires satisfactory academic performance in the programme.
• Offered candidates can also avail bank loans from any of your preferred Public / Private Bank or NBFC.

Master of Management Studies in Heritage Management

• Students are eligible to apply for a Fellowship of INR 50,000 per annum, which includes a Teaching Assistantship under the mentorship of a faculty member. Teaching Assistants are required to assist faculty members in the teaching of assigned courses both semesters.

Master of Science in Economics

• Teaching Assistantships are available on the basis of merit. It provides a waiver of INR 1.25 lakh per year towards the tuition fee. Teaching Assistants are required to assist faculty members in the teaching of assigned courses both semesters. Continuation of this assistantship in the second year is contingent upon maintaining a satisfactory academic performance.

Master of Science in Quantitative Finance

• Teaching Assistantships are available on the basis of merit. It provides a waiver of INR 1.25 lakh per year towards the tuition fee. Teaching Assistants are required to assist faculty members in the teaching of assigned courses both semesters. Continuation of this assistantship in the second year is contingent upon maintaining a satisfactory academic performance.

Master of Technology

• Students admitted to the MTech programmes will receive a stipend of INR 8000 per month for the first year as a Teaching Assistant where the student is expected to assist faculty members in the teaching of assigned courses both semesters. GATE qualified students will receive INR 12,000 per month as Teaching Assistants. 
• Industry-sponsored students are not eligible for Teaching Assistantships.

B) Doctoral Programmes Financial Aid

The University awards full tuition fee waiver and financial support to full-time doctoral students. The University also encourages Indian and foreign students to apply for funding from external sources The financial support could be either University Assistantship or University Fellowship, or from external sources. We offer University Assistantships at INR 40,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver, and University Fellowships at INR 50,000 per month plus tuition fee waiver.
