Machine Learning is one skill where many of our students have shown interest in learning, across disciplines. The event aims to tackle the same subject from an applied perspective to give the students a flavour of how Machine Learning problems are solved in the real world.
This session will cover topics like logistic regression and basics of Decision Tree. Even the people who haven't heard about them will be able to understand as we would be including a hands-on implementation of topics such as data preprocessing and wrangling to make things clearer.
To add a cherry on the top we would be conducting a Q and A session in the beginning to solve any of the participants' doubts regarding anything - Research, SDE, ML, higher studies and more!
Wherever required, the underlying mathematics will be explained. It will be emphasized more for beginner topics like regression.
By attending this event, the participants will get a better appreciation of Machine Learning from an applied as well as a theoretical perspective. They will get an expert's insights on how to use the Machine Learning libraries and how to avoid common pitfalls.
