Going Underwater: Water Tales from India and Beyond

Conducted as part of the studio themed on water, Gauri Raje mesmerised students with her captivating stories of Indian rivers. Her narratives offered alternate interpretations of water mythology, weaving together cultural, historical, and gender perspectives that deepened students' understanding of the significance of water in shaping societies and identities.

Speaker: Gauri Raje, Anthropologist and Storyteller She is an educator and workshop facilitator working with adolescents and adults from multilingual, multicultural, and underserved backgrounds.
