Celebrating the spirit of Raksha Bandhan, the Social Service Forum at Ahmedabad University is organising a unique event. The forum collaborated with three NGOs where they will sell rakhis, each crafted with love and care. Our supporters are:

• Upraant Foundation: Women slum dwellers created rakhis using eco-friendly techniques, thus demonstrating the ‘Circular Economy.’
• Blind People Association: The organisation supports people with disabilities through several activities, including rakhi making, to promote societal equality and empowerment.
• Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh Foundation: Around 200 visually impaired girls come together to craft beautiful rakhis.

Our students will also craft their rakhis to share the joy of Raksha Bandhan with residents of a juvenile home and an old age home, bringing happiness to those who need it most.
